HOW TO USE

Discontinue all hair removal methods except shaving. Shave the treatment area the day before use. Always patch test 24 hours prior.
Ensure skin is clean and dry.
Press the Power button to switch on. Ice Cooling mode is the default. Attach the large head for Speed mode or the small head for Precision mode.
Place the device against your skin, press the button, and flash. Move after each flash until the area is covered.
Treat once a week for 12 weeks, then top up every 4–8 weeks.

How to use

Shave all visible hair. Make sure your skin is clean and dry before treatment. Always perform a patch test.

Press the Power button. Ice Cooling mode is the default mode. To switch to Speed mode, clip on the large attachment or to use Precision mode, clip on the small attachment.

Gently hold the device against your skin, press the activation button and flash. Move the device with each flash to cover the treatment area.

IPL is most effective when there is a contrast between the skin and hair

IPL isn’t effective on white or grey hair due to lower amounts of melanin, and red hair contains a different type of melanin which isn’t responsive to IPL.

It is not suitable for use on deep skin tones or skin rich in melanin

This hair removal product is the very best I've ever had. As a Greek/American I have had my more than my equal share of body hair. It's plagued me for the last 30 years. I was first in line for spa treatments, I've tried various home hair removal methods and after years of doing this I still felt like a hairy ape. This product, however, worked wonders for me. Nothing currently on the market can compare. It's fast, strong, easy to handle, and the best thing for me is it works! Quickly, too. After 2 months of using it weekly I am literally hair free for the first time in my life. I can't describe the life altering changes it's made in how I view my own body. It has different features such as intensity. For sensitive areas it has a cooling feature. The light pulses are speedy which result in an all body treatment that takes ess than 40 minutes. All in all, this gets a 10 star rating from me. I love it.

I love the Smoothskin laser hair removal tool! It is painless, although there is a bit of a “sting” after each zap but the face of the wand feels like ice and cools it immediately! I have somewhat sensitive skin, specifically on my legs, and I have had no problems using this once a week. I did get sun exposure on vacation and one warning in the guide is to ensure you’ve been out of the sun for a week before using the device. I did notice I got a few white spots on my skin which was noted to be a common occurrence if in sun exposure. It won’t stop me from using this, it is hardly noticeable. I started to see results 2 weeks in! Super impressed! The only area it didn’t work for me was my pits.

I was lucky enough to be able to test the Smoothskin Pure Switch IPL hair removal device in exchange for my honest review. The smoothskin pure is without a doubt the easiest ipl laser I have ever used. With several different settings and options for different hair types for all over the body, it's as good as going to the salon for the same experience. It's just not nearly as pricey as the salon! After just a few uses, the hair on my legs has almost stopped growing! It does just was it claims to do! If you're in the market for an IPL laser. Smoothskin Pure would be my number 1 choice!

I was pleasantly surprised at how my legs looked two days after my first IPL. The instruction manual documents each step of the process well. There's a learning curve in using it so you don't burn your skin. If I had followed the instructions I wouldn't have had a few burn spots the second time I used it. I wish the device did not need to be plugged in to use. It's a little awkward.
