The Gel ensures that the device's electrodes can easily be glided across the skin for a smooth, effective treatment. And the non-conductive nature of the Gel ensures that the RF energy can penetrate deep into the dermis layer of the skin, without affecting the skin's surface.
One 50ml tube of Preparation Gel should last you for an entire RF-treatment cycle, which consists of 2-3 uses per week for a period of 6-8 weeks. Maintenance is required thereafter (2-4 times a month) if you wish to top up your results – in this case, TriPollar recommends always having a fresh tube on hand. Gel has a 12 month PAO after the tube is opened.
The Preparation Gel spreads evenly, effortlessly and generously, so a pea-sized amount is perfect for the entire face. Keep in mind that the gel is very thick, so a thin layer should be applied as too much product can cause the device to be less effective.
